WHAT: The rose Jude the Obscure is one of the most fragrant roses on the market today, and one of the most beautiful. Soft intoxicating apricot petals with a pale yellow interior face inward and form a cup shape.

Jude the Obscure is disease resistant and reblooms for many months.

This rose won the prestigious fragrance award in Monza Italy, the Corona Regina Teodelinda Perfume Award. Its unusual name comes from a character in Thomas Hardy’s novel of the same name.

SUN OR SHADE: Plant this and other roses where they will receive five to six hours of direct sun.

SIZE: 5-by-five feet or as an 8-foot climber if left untrimmed
