BOTHELL — A 7-Eleven manager won $200,000 on a scratch ticket earlier this month that he bought in his own store, according to Washington’s Lottery.

The man, who declined to be identified, told lottery officials that he bought and scratched a “Triple Black Cherry” ticket on Oct. 9 at the 7-Eleven at 20801 Bothell-Everett Highway in Bothell. He said he checked the numbers three times and then put it into the safe.

He claimed his prize from the Everett Regional Office the next day. He said he was going to surprise his wife that evening. He also said his wife is pregnant with their first child.

While he plays the lottery regularly, he said this is the first time he’s won big.
