Lynnwood man recovering after being hit on I-405

SEATTLE — A Lynnwood man who was hit by a suspected drunken driver on I-405 near Bothell on Friday night is recovering at a Seattle hospital.

The 22-year-old was listed Tuesday in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said. The man was sitting in a disabled car parked on the right shoulder when he was struck.

The suspected drunken driver, a 39-year-old Snohomish woman, is being investigated for vehicular assault, according to the Washington State Patrol.

She was booked into the Snohomish County Jail over the weekend.
