EVERETT — Justin Gordon scored 11 points and Nick Benenati added 10 as Cascade defeated Monroe in a 4A District 1 Tournament game. Rhen Shore scored a game-high 17 points for the Bearcats in the loss. With the victory the Bruins advance to face Edmonds-Woodway on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Edmonds-Woodway H.S.
