Professor to discuss epic kayak trip down Mississippi

Trinity Lutheran College professor Dave Ellingson made an epic journey 2,300 miles down the Mississippi River in the summer of 2012.

In 2013 he wrote a book about his adventure and spiritual journey called “Paddle Pilgrim,” which lists on Amazon.com for $15.99.

Ellingson will talk about his travels on the Big Muddy and what he learned about kayaking, the country and his own inner strength at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Everett Public Library.
