Swapping out valve gaskets on the B-25 bomber

It’s time for the mechanics to change out the valve gaskets on the dual R-2600 engines of the B-25 Mitchell bomber at the Flying Heritage Collection.

Over time the gaskets get hard and brittle, and when they do, oil sneaks past them and you end up with a drippy mess. The new gaskets are soft and squishy — perfect for making that seal.
