Reader poll: Will Mueller be back?

All right, time for the first reader poll of the 2014-15 season.

Mirco Mueller was expected to be a defensive workhorse for the Tips this season. The 19-year-old from Switzerland already has two seasons of impressive play under his belt, and he was selected in the first round of the 2013 NHL draft by the San Jose Sharks.

But does Mueller have a realistic chance of sticking with the Sharks this season as an underage player? Mueller bypassed Everett’s training camp, electing to head straight to San Jose’s camp. The Sharks also shed a couple veteran defensemen during the offseason and have made statements about going young on defense this season. Mueller already signed with the Sharks, but as a 19-year-old drafted out of the WHL he can only play for the big club, otherwise he must be returned to Everett.
