Website helps find soundtrack music from films, TV

Have you ever watched a movie and afterward just can’t get a music track from it out of your head? If you don’t know the title of the music, you can try checking the film’s soundtrack or score release. But what if there is no official release or the release doesn’t include the music in your memory? That’s where soundtrack.net comes in handy.
The site is a source for news and information about movie and television soundtracks and original scores. You can search for information by the film’s name, by its composer or, if you know it, even by its release date. A typical film page will list its music tracks (whether or not there was an official release) and the artists who sang them; director, music supervisor and composer credits; and album release date, its publisher and a link to the soundtrack and/or score. Plus, there are release dates for upcoming films about 60 days in advance.
You can even find obscure information, such as unused film scores that were later released. And because studios frequently use music in a film’s trailer that never actually appears in the film, the site has a trailer music link. If you haven’t visited the site in a while, click on Soundtracks for a list of albums that have been added to the database in the past 30 days.
