Boys tennis: NW District 4A tournament

MILL CREEK — Jimmy Hua of Kamiak defeated Jackson’s Bence Dare 6-2, 6-1 Monday in the final match of the Northwest District 4A boys tennis tournament to capture the final berth into next spring’s state tourney.

Hua heads to state as the No. 2 seed. Dare will serve as the alternate. Monday’s match was played at the Mill Creek Tennis Club.

Jackson won the district team title with 24 points. Kamiak was second with 18.
