Prep football: Eastside Catholic 42, Arlington 14

SAMMAMISH — Eastside Catholic took a 35-point lead into halftime and went on to defeat Arlington in the first round of the 3A Quad-District Playoffs.

Kyler Smith scored both touchdowns for the Eagles, scoring on runs of 15 and 10 yards in the third and fourth quarters respectively. He finished the game with 10 carries for 47 yards and two scores.

The Eagles end the season with an overall record of 5-5.
