How they got to regionals: Glacier Peak lost to Stanwood 68-65 in the Northwest District championship game and had to settle for the No. 2 seed out of the district. Garfield defeated Seattle Prep 62-43 to capture the No. 3 seed out of the Sea-King District.

Breakdown: Once again, Glacier Peak faces a tough regional matchup. The Grizzlies lost to Rainier Beach twice (in 2012 and 2013), and each time the Vikings went on to win the Class 3A state championship. That could be the case again this year, as Garfield, which plays in the brutal 3A Metro league, has state-title aspirations.
