MONROE — Monroe and Eastlake battled for 10 innings before the game was called on account of darkness at Marshall Field.

The game will not be resumed, and both teams earned a tie.

The Bearcats stranded five runners in scoring position in the last three innings, and the final out of the game was recorded when a Bearcat runner was tagged in a rundown between third and home.

Andrew Chartrand went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI for Monroe and Bailey Sarto went 2-for-3 with a double.
