Prep baseball: Everett 2, Mariner 1

EVERETT — Sam Loomis allowed just one run over seven innings to lead Everett to a victory over Mariner in the season opener for both teams. Elijah White hit two doubles for the Marauders, and Brandon Johnson and Lewis Elliot each had a double for the Seagulls.
