Prep baseball: Lakewood 12, Steilacoom 3

ARLINGTON — Mitchell Huglen’s two-run home run capped a five-run first inning for the Cougars (7-2) who rolled to a non-league victory over the visiting Sentinels on Saturday.

Hunter Fritz went 3-for-3 with three RBI and Sam Linscott went 2-for-3 with three RBI for Lakewood in support of Kamerin Furseth, who struck out six and walked two in six innings. He allowed all three Steilacoom runs.
