Prep baseball: Lynnwood 10, Glacier Peak 3

BOTHELL — Two four-run innings for Lynnwood in the fourth and sixth keyed the win for the Royals in Tuesday night’s Wesco 3A South matchup against Glacier Peak.

Lynnwood starter Jared Whitman picked up the win, giving up only four hits and adding five strikeouts.

Royals slugger Carson Hoerner led the offense with a 3-4, two-RBI night at the dish.

Teammate Bobby Graham chipped in with a double and two RBI. It is the fifth win in the last six games for Lynnwood and its third in a row.
