Growing tomatoes
The Camano Garden Club is hosting a presentation on how to grow tomatoes in the Northwest. Master gardener Jeff Thomson of Edmonds is scheduled to talk during the club’s meeting Thursday at the Camano Country Club, 1243 Beach Drive, at 1 p.m. Cost to attend is $5, with club members getting in free.
Learn to boat safely: The Everett Police Department plans a free boating safety class May 3. “Adventures in Boating” will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The class curriculum is certified by the state.
