EdCC to host information session about accelerated certificate

Students interested in Edmonds Community College’s PACE-IT (Progressive Accelerated Certificates for Employment in Information Technology) program can apply online or register for an information session. The sessions will be held on the first Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. through December 2015. Bureau: Watch for Nepal earthquake scams

Following the Nepal earthquake, state officials and the Better Business Bureau urge consumers to be on guard for charity scams. Fake charities may look and sound legitimate online or even hijack the names of well-known organizations. Scammers will often pose as official charity agents pressuring for donations over the phone.
