SEATTLE — Seattle police are warning drivers that May Day means they should be prepared for rolling slowdowns and heavy traffic from planned marches.
Police say the annual May Day March for Workers and Immigrant Rights is scheduled Friday afternoon. Organizers have also planned a rally at the federal courthouse.
Elsewhere in Seattle, A Black Lives Matter event has been planned for Friday.
A non-permitted protest that’s billed as an anti-capitalist march has been advertised on anarchists’ websites for Friday evening.
