EVERETT — Eleven runs in the first inning sealed things Tuesday for Monroe as the Bearcats shut out Cascade for a Wesco 4A win.

The Bearcats had 24 hits in the game, which was called in the fifth inning in accordance with the 10-run rule.

Kacey Hvitved hit a home run to lead the Bearcat offense.
