LYNNWOOD — Police continue to investigate two attacks reported recently on the Edmonds Community College campus in Lynnwood. Detectives on Friday said that included “examining whether these cases are related.”
In the first incident, a female student was sexually assaulted about 11 p.m. May 2 in parking lot “E” just south of Rainier Place. The suspect, described as being in his 20s with dark skin, had blood on his clothing when he ran away.
On Wednesday, another woman was groped while walking on campus. That happened at 11:45 a.m., police said. It was not made public whether that woman also was a student. In the second incident, the victim described the suspect as black, in his early 20s and about 5-foot-8, a thin build and long curly hair.
