1 teen in custody, 1 hospitalized after stabbing

LYNNWOOD — One teen was taken to the hospital and another to juvenile jail Thursday night after an attempted robbery turned into a stabbing, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The pair allegedly tried to rob another teen who pulled out a knife in self-defense, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The confrontation occurred around 8:45 p.m. at Logan Park, 1414 Logan Road.
The injured teen was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with a stab wound to the arm and possibly a punctured lung, Ireton said.
The other teen was booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center in Everett.
Ages of the teens were not immediately available.
