EDMONDS — Police are investigating a home-invasion robbery that happened Monday in Edmonds.
The victims, a man and woman described as being in their 80s or 90s, were unhurt, Edmonds police Sgt. Shane Hawley said. They called police about 2:40 p.m.
The woman had answered a knock at the door when “multiple suspects pushed their way inside,” Hawley said. No weapons were seen, and the victims were told to sit while the suspects ransacked their home.
As of early evening, detectives still were assessing whether anything was stolen from the home, located in the 1000 block of 8th Avenue S. The victims were too shaken up to give much detail, Hawley said. Additional interviews are planned Tuesday.
