LYNNWOOD β€” A man and two children were injured Friday night after a car drove off I-5 near Lynnwood.

Their injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening, Washington State Patrol trooper Mark Francis said Sunday.

The crash happened just before 7 p.m. The man, 33, of Mountlake Terrace, was northbound in a 2001 Cadillac DeVille. It’s unknown why the car left the road, Francis said. There’s no indication other vehicles were involved.

β€œIt’s still under investigation,” Francis said.

Two girls in the car, ages 6 and 9, were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The older girl was believed to have broken bones, Francis said. The man also was taken to Harborview as a precaution.

Crews from Lynnwood, Fire District 1 and Shoreline helped rescue the three from the vehicle, which was found in a ditch.
