Man in parked car shot in Lynnwood; suspect arrested

LYNNWOOD — Police in Lynnwood have arrested a suspect in an overnight shooting that sent a man to the hospital.

The shooting was reported around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was shot while sitting in a car in a Shari’s restaurant parking lot in the 19400 block of Highway 99.

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center. His condition was not immediately available, police Sgt. Sean Doty said.

The suspect, 35, was arrested in Mountlake Terrace around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Police are not looking for additional suspects, Doty said.
