Prep girls soccer: King’s 1, Kennedy Catholic 1

TUKWILA — An own-goal by King’s in the 37th minute Thursday night led to a 1-1 tie with non-league opponent Kennedy catholic.

King’s goalkeeper Maddie Nielsen made a terrific save in the final minutes, only to have the ball deflect off a teammate and land in the back of the net.

Anna Parker scored the Knights’ only goal of the night after an assist by Abby Jenkins in the 28th minute.
