Everett motorcyclist hurt in crash on Whidbey Island

OAK HARBOR — An Everett man was listed in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after his motorcycle collided with a car north of Oak Harbor on Thursday.

Ronald Hockett, 63, was riding a motorcycle northbound on Highway 20 when an Anacortes man attempted to turn southbound off Lunz Road. The collision was reported around 12:15 p.m.

The other driver, 86, was not injured, according to a Washington State Patrol memo. The accident is under investigation.
