AquaSox name Fensterbush assistant GM

The Everett AquaSox announced Tuesday that Erica Fensterbush has been named the team’s assistant general manager.

Fensterbush, a native of York, Pennsylvania, previously worked as the director of tickets for the AquaSox. She joined the franchise in January 2012 as an account executive.

“2015 was a very successful season for the AquaSox and Erica’s tireless work ethic played a large role in that success,” AquaSox general manager Danny Tetzlaff said in a press release. “Her leadership and energy keep the staff motivated throughout the year. When this position became available, it was only natural to promote from within and promote Erica to fill this role.”

The AquaSox, a minor-league affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, open their 2016 Northwest League season — their 33rd in Everett — on June 17 at Tri-City. Everett’s home opener is June 23 against the Boise Hawks.
