Edmonds bank robbed; police search for suspect

EDMONDS — Police are searching for a man who robbed an Edmonds bank Thursday morning.
The holdup was reported at 11:13 a.m. at Banner Bank, 7009 212 St. SW, Sgt. Shane Hawley said. The man passed a note to a teller and implied he had a weapon, though one wasn’t seen.
He is described as black and in his 30s. He wore a puffy blue coat, dark blue pants and a green beanie-style hat. Anyone with information is asked to contact Edmonds police at 425-771-0200.
