Prep girls soccer: King’s 6, Meridian 0

SHORELINE — Katie Stella’s hat trick propelled the Knights to a 1A District 1 championship and a Class 1A state tournament berth on Saturday.

Maddie Nielsen registered two saves in the shutout for King’s, which will advance to bi-districts as the district’s top seed and play Seattle Academy in a state seeding game on Saturday at Sultan H.S.
