Prep girls soccer: Lake Stevens 3, Monroe 0

EVERETT — Fernanda Peña knocked in two goals in the first half in a Lake Stevens victory over Monroe in a loser out game in the 4A District 1 tournament.

Lake Stevens will play the loser of the Kamiak-Jackson game on Saturday for the district’s second state berth.
