Pedestrian killed by car is identified as Lynnwood man

LYNNWOOD — The pedestrian killed in Lynnwood on Tuesday night has been identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.

Michael L. Wood, 72, of Lynnwood, was struck by a car around 10 p.m. in the 5600 block of 200th Street SW.

He died of head injuries.

The driver, 27, stayed on scene and cooperated with Lynnwood police.
