Arlington Arts Council: The council oversees rotating art exhibits at the Arlington Library, 135 N Washington Ave., and Cascade Valley Hospital, 330 S. Stillaguamish Ave. More at arlingtonartscouncil.net. Guides for its outdoor exhibits are available at the visitor information station near City Hall.

Art Loft Sisters at Fisherman’s Market and Grill: 1032 W. Marine View Dr., Everett. Through April, see art by Rick Tuthill, who works primarily in watercolors.

Arts of Snohomish Gallery: 1024 First St., No. 104, Snohomish; 360-568-8648; www.artsofsnohomish.com; noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.

Cascadia Art Museum: Located at 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds, the new museum offers “Looking Back, Moving Forward: A centennial tribute to Nellie Cornish and Cornish College of the Arts” through May 1. Admission is $10. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. On third Thursdays, the museum is open until 8 p.m. and is free during Edmonds Art Walk hours, 5 to 8 p.m. More information is at cascadiaartmuseum.org.

Cristiano’s Italian restaurant: A show of original pastel paintings of the Dordogne region in France through April 30 during restaurant hours at 1206 State Ave., Suite G, Marysville.

Frances Anderson Center: The Edmonds Arts Commission shows art work at the center, 700 Main St., Edmonds. Leon White’s “My Love of Birds” 3-D work is displayed through April 26.

Heritage Gallery: Country Village, 720 238th St. SE, Suite F, Bothell. Gale Johansen shows her whimsical work at the gallery through April.

Hibulb Cultural Center: 6410 23rd Ave. NE, Tulalip; 360-716-2635; www.hibulbculturalcenter.org. “Natural Wanderment: Stewardship. Sovereignty. Sacredness” features the work of photographer Matika Wilbur, of the Swinomish and Tulalip tribes. She is crisscrossing the nation photographing people in each of the federally recognized tribes. The exhibit runs through June 11.

Lynnwood Convention Center: Artists in the current exhibit are Charles Laurens Heald, Michael Lanka, Brooke Borcherding, Charlotte D’Amelio and Becky Fletcher. The display is up through summer.

Rosehill Community Center: Artist Bobbie Mueller shows watercolors through June 23. Opening reception is 7 p.m. April 7 at the center, 304 Lincoln, Mukilteo.

Schack Art Center: 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett; 425-259-5050; www.schack.org. Classes include drawing, printmaking, basketry, jewelry and metalsmithing, encaustic, painting, fused glass, blown glass. Go to the website for more information. The Schack’s biennial Juried Art Exhibit is up through April 23. Also displayed is the 2016 Black &White Photography Contest featuring work by Snohomish County high school students displayed through April 17 in the Schack’s Emerging Young Artists’ Gallery.

The Sisters: 2804 Grand Ave., Everett; 425-252-0480; www.thesistersrestaurant.com; 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Works by Jason Otto are displayed through May 6. Otto lives in the Everett area and is a software engineer at Boeing. His subjects include local scenes such as the Mukilteo lighthouse and ferry and the Boeing factory.

Snohomish County Arts Commission: Through April, see a new exhibit of photographs by husband and wife team, Bill and Marlene Fritts, in the lobby of the Robert J. Drewel Building on the county campus, Everett.

Island County

Whitmore Gallery: Artist Jill Whitmore has opened her gallery at Terry’s Corner on Camano Island. It is open noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday until Labor Day. More at www.windsingers.com.

Matzke Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Park: 2345 Blanche Way, Camano Island; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends, weekdays by appointment; 360-387-2759; www.matzkefineart.com. Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists exhibit is displayed through April 10. The group was founded in 1928, committed to supporting the visual arts in the Pacific Northwest.

Skagit County

Camano artist Jack Gunter: “Secrets of the Mount Vernon Culture” — originally displayed at Bumbershoot in 2000 — is showing at the Skagit County Historical Museum, 501 S. Fourth St., La Conner. Gunter’s zany interpretation of early Pacific Northwest history is displayed through May 15. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Call 360-466-3365.

Tulip art: The Rexville Grange Art Show, which displays work primarily from Snohomish, Skagit, Island and Whatcom county artists, is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through April 10 at the grange, 19299 Rexville Grange Road, located between Conway and La Conner. Among the artists are Marguerite Goff, Janet Hamilton, Molly LeMaster and Lucinda VanValkenburg.
