Help decorate Pike Place Market with your art

Come to Pike Place Market and paint.

The public is invited to add creativity to panels at the market at Community Collaborative Art Pop-Up events in July. Panels will be installed as a permanent art fixture on Western Avenue across from the new MarketFront.

Public paint dates are: 5-8 p.m. July 20;. noon to 2 p.m. July 21, 4-6 p.m. July 21, noon-2 p.m. July 22, 4-6 p.m. July 22, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. July 23 and 10 a.m.–2 p.m. July 24.

When finished, the 250 foot long public art installation will consist of about 1,600 aluminum strips.More at www.pikeup.org.
