A drink to spritz up your staycation

When enjoying a staycation, do as the Romans do.

Here’s a cocktail idea from the book “Spritz” to make you feel as if you’re on vacation.

Rome With a View

1 ounce Campari

1 ounce dry vermouth

1 ounce fresh lime juice

¾ ounce simple syrup

Soda water

Combine the Campari, vermouth, lime juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain over ice into a Collins glass, top with soda water, and add an orange slice garnish.
