Pierce Co. deputies kill man who came at them with chain saw

GRAHAM — Pierce County sheriff’s deputies have fatally shot a man they say charged them while armed with a running chain saw.

KOMO-TV reported that the shooting happened on Tuesday morning.

Officials posted on Twitter that the suspect charged at the deputies with the chain saw and deputies fired at the man. He died at the scene from gunshot wounds.

Few details were immediately available.
