Carl Gipson Senior Center: 3025 Lombard Ave., Everett. Dance to live music from 1 to 3 p.m. the second and fourth Saturday of the month; $5.

Clan Heather Dancers: Scottish Highland and Irish step dance classes in Everett, Mount Vernon and Bellingham. Register for fall classes in competitive, performance and recreational dance. Freewheelers Square Dance Club: Mountlake Terrace Community Senior Center, 23000 Lakeview Dr.; www.squaredanceseattle.com. Dances are 7 to 10 p.m. on first, third and some fifth Sundays. Dances are mainstream on the first Sundays and plus on the third Sundays. Cost is $8. New dance classes for beginners start Sept. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. A partner is not required.
