Holiday blues
YWCA plans a free support group, “Strategies for Managing the Holiday Blues,” which will meet from 5-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 1 to Jan. 3, at Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.
Those who struggle with sadness or anxiety during the winter holidays are invited to create a meaningful experience through art and other creative outlets.

Edmonds Heritage Days: “All Aboard: Steaming a path through history,” a Heritage Days benefit for the Edmonds Museum, will be held from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 5. The keynote speaker will be KING 5 personality and train enthusiast Glenn Farley.

Sno-Isle meetings: The Sno-Isle Libraries Board of Trustees will meet at 5 p.m. today at the district’s Service Center, 7312 35th Ave. NE, Marysville. On Tuesday, the capital facility area governing bodies for the Granite Falls, Monroe and Snohomish libraries meet in 10-minute blocks starting at 11 a.m. in the Jackson Board Room, Snohomish County Administration Building East, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
