Reel World Film Series: The current series is about Muslims in America. The next film is “Mooz-lum” by Qasim Basir, 2010. Movie starts at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Tariq, raised a strict Muslim, must find a way to live in post 9/11 America. Next up is Jeffrey Nachmanoff’s 2008 film (written by Steve Martin) “Traitor” on Dec. 2 and the L.A.-based “American East” by Hesham Issawi is Dec. 9.

“Casablanca”: Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St., continues its classic movies series at 6 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month. Tickets are $3. On Nov. 28, see “Casablanca” with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. No movie in December, but see a new line up in January.

“Pulp Fiction”: Edmonds Center for the Arts continues its new Film Cabaret series with a showing of the 1994 movie at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at the center, 410 Fourth Ave. N. More at www.edmondscenterforthearts.org. Cabaret happy hour begins at 6:30.

Everett Meaningful Movies: At 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at Sanctuary Covenant Church, 4502 Rucker, Everett, see “What Would Jesus Buy?” — a sobering view of shopping that spins out of control at Christmas time. The documentary follows the Rev. Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping gospel choir. Doors open at 6 p.m.
