Baby is a sweet girl that is excited about life and meeting new people. She has lived around kids before but she can be a little excited so you will need to watch her and make sure she knows not to play to rough. She will need a meet and greet with any resident canines and a feline free home. Medical info: We suspect Baby has some arthritis in her hips and may need x-rays and medication in the future. Riddick is looking for a home that is going to put him to work. He is in need of a job so that he stays out of trouble. His new home should have no small dogs or cats. Any kids in the house should be over the age of 13 and heavily involved in his training. Riddick likes to get his way and seems to have never been told no. He will need a house with a tall fence, he is not suited for apartment living. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Skittles is in need of a home where she is the only furry member. She has started to become jealous of other dogs and cats. She has been fine with kids and would love to go outside and play fetch. She is in need of someone that is willing to take her on long walks, hikes, or just throw the ball for her daily. She would do well in a training or even an agility class to get her mind stimulated. The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
