Robbery suspect sought by Arlington, Marysville police

SMOKEY POINT — Police in Arlington and Marysville are looking for tips as they attempt to identify a robbery suspect.
Arlington police were called to the Subway restaurant in the 16800 block of Smokey Point Boulevard shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday after a report of an attempted robbery. The man fled before police arrived.
Twenty minutes later, a suspect with a similar description robbed the Twin Lakes Subway in the 17100 block of 27th Avenue NE in Marysville.
Police from both cities, as well as Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies and Washington State Patrol troopers, were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect was described as being in his mid 20s. He’s believed to be about 6-feet-1 with a slender build. He was wearing all black clothing, including gloves, a mask and a hooded North Face sweatshirt.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call 911.
