City of Everett members of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees donated time and food to the Interfaith Family Shelter, which is operated by the Interfaith Association of Northwest Washington. The group’s Thanksgiving food drive brought in over 400 pounds of food for shelter residents. City volunteers also donated time and effort for a much-needed maintenance day at the shelter, replacing lights, updating the landscaping, doing some roof maintenance and replacing the drainage system.
