Pedestrian in Everett struck by truck, seriously hurt

EVERETT — A teenage girl was seriously injured after being struck by a truck on Broadway Thursday evening.
It happened about 5:20 p.m. at the intersection with 14th Street. It wasn’t immediately clear whether she was in a crosswalk, said officer Aaron Snell with the Everett Police Department.
Her injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.
The driver, a 51-year-old Everett man, stayed at the scene.
Southbound lanes were closed for about an hour.
