The de Havilland Mosquito is mostly made out of wood, so putting it back together should be no problem right?

Get out the nails and glue … not exactly.

Of course, the big, complex fighter plane mostly bolts together. In fact, a Flying Heritage Center staffer went to New Zealand to help take the plane apart after its initial flights in order to become an expert at assembling it stateside. Now, the parts are being readied for (re)construction and final paint.

No definite dates for the first flights from Everett, but stay tuned!
