EVERETT — Everett police are searching for a man who robbed the downtown 13 Buffalos espresso stand Monday evening.

A man walked up to the drive-thru coffee shop on Rucker Avenue. He implied he had a gun and demanded money, Sgt. Maryjane Hacker said.

The man ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as white and between the ages of 25 and 35. He had brown hair and was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.

Everett police are investigating the robbery, in addition to other recent espresso stand robberies.

A man with a similar description robbed the Diedrich Espresso stand Jan. 4.

The Espresso Avenue coffee stand downtown also was robbed at gunpoint Dec. 2. The suspect had a shaved head. He was wearing a red bandana, gray sweatshirt and light-colored pants.

Police can’t confirm these robberies are connected, Hacker said.

This story has been corrected to say the man implied he had a gun during a robbery Monday at 13 Buffalos espresso stand. The original story misstated a detail about the weapon being displayed.
