Darmon Meader with Soundsation: Edmonds Community College’s award-winning jazz choir performs with singer Darmon Meader at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18, Black Box Theater, EdCC, 20000 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood. Tickets $12.

Indigo Girls: Amy Ray and Emily Saliers return to the Edmonds Center for the Arts for a concert 7:30 p.m. Jan. 19. However, no more tickets are available online. Check with the box office at 425-275-9595.

Lynnwood Idol: “Sing Loud and Proud” is the name of Lynnwood High School senior McKenna Sessions’ singing competition. The inaugural round starts at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at Alderwood Community Church, 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd., Lynnwood. Donations accepted for The Arc of Snohomish County. Participants are students in the Edmonds School District’s transition program for young adults with disabilities.

Seattle Pro Musica, Radcliffe Choral Society, Northwest Girlchoir: Collaborative concert “She Has Wings” to be performed at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20, Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. Tickets are $15, free for students.

Adam Miller: The autoharpist performs at 2 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave. Free. One of the premier autoharpists in the world, Miller also is a renowned American folksinger and natural-born storyteller. An accomplished folklorist, historian, musicologist and song-collector, he has amassed a repertoire of more than 5,000 songs. Miller accompanies his rich, resonant baritone voice with lively finger-picking acoustic guitar and beautiful autoharp melodies. A masterful entertainer, he never fails to get his audience singing along. For all ages.

Guitarist Jesse Cook: Considered one of the most influential figures in “nuevo flamenco” music, Cook incorporates rumba, jazz and flamenco into his music. He performs at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave N. The concert is nearly sold out. Call 425-275-9595.

Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra: The concert “Basie Bash: New York, 1937” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28, Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Tickets are $35, with discounts for seniors. All jazz fans age 25 and younger are admitted for only $10. Call 425-275-9595.

Pacifica Chamber Orchestra: The annual Sunshine Concert is 3 p.m. Jan. 29, First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Director Fred Chu will perform Piazzolla’s “Oblivion” arranged for violin and string orchestra. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for students and seniors.

Washington Old Time Fiddlers Jam: Join the acoustic jam or listen to the group that meets at 5 p.m., on second Fridays (Jan. 13) at the Sisco Heights Community Club, 13527 99th Ave. NE, Arlington. “Growing Gardens with Song”: St. Aidan Episcopal Church offers a hymn sing at 7 p.m. Jan. 27 at the church, 1318 Hwy. 532, Camano Island. Steve Jensen will lead singers through centuries of hymns. Blues and Brews Thursdays: Marysville Kiwanis Club joins the city in offering blues music and brews from a local microbrewery from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursdays at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St.; 360-363-8400. $5 at the door. The entertainment returns in January with Blues Dues on Jan. 18; Margaret Wilder Band, Feb. 16; and the Gin Joints March 16.

Un-Wine-d Wednesdays: Live music and tastes of local wines are offered by Marysville Rotary from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on second Wednesdays at the city-run Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St.; 360-363-8400. Tickets are $5. Hear Swing Nuts Jazz, Feb. 8; and the Joan Penney Trio on March 8.

Olivia Newton-John, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Amy Sky: With their show LIV ON, these award-winning women are set to perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. The concert includes songs off their new album and each other’s best-known hits.
