Big Band Dance: Kamiak High School’s jazz bands host their annual dance fundraiser Jan. 20, featuring music from the Swing Era of the 1930s to the 1940s at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. Swing lessons at 6 p.m., followed by dancing and refreshments from 7 to 9 p.m. Enter a swing dance contest for beginners to win cash prizes up to $100. Beer and wine available for purchase. Edmonds Senior Center: Fling Dance with live bands, 1 to 3 p.m. Fridays at Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave. Cost is $4 and includes coffee and snacks. No partner necessary. Easy beginning line dance class Mondays at 3:30 p.m. for $4 a person and dance sampler class Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. for $5 a person. Class includes foxtrot, swing and waltz instruction.
