Celebrate winterhood at Bavarian IceFest in Leavenworth, Jan. 14 and 15.
Watch snow sculpture teams and live ice carvings. Participate in an ice cube scramble, snowball toss and Bavarian mug relay. Snowshoe racing, dog sledding, the famous Smooshing Contest and more. Fireworks end the festivities at 6 p.m. Sunday. More at www.leavenworth.org.
