Edmonds police looking for man who tried to lure boy into car

EDMONDS — A boy said someone has tried to lure him into a car three different times during his walk home from school.
The most recent incident happened around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to an Edmonds Police Department press release.
The boy was walking home from College Place Elementary. In the 20100 block of 76th Avenue West, a Ford Ranger truck pulled up. The driver reportedly demanded he get in, police said.
The boy ran home and told his mother what happened.
He said this is the third time the man has tried to lure him into a car. The last incident was Jan. 4, police said.
The driver was described as white and about 35 years old. He had “spiky” brown hair and was unshaven, according to a press release. His pickup is said to be dark green and brown. It had a matching green canopy.
Police plan to increase patrols in this area during school release times.
