Are you Swedish and do you love to talk?: The casting director for the Emmy award-winning TV show “Great Swedish Adventure” has issued a nationwide casting call. She is looking for Americans who want to know more about their Swedish heritage. The deadline to apply is Feb. 10. Filming will be in May or June in Sweden. Apply at www.greatswedishadventure.com.
Edmonds Driftwood Players: Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St., Edmonds; www.edmondsdriftwoodplayers.org or 425-774-9600, option 3. “Professor Roth’s Will” is playing at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, through Jan. 22, under the direction of Justin Tinsley. When their college professor father dies, four siblings must deal with their dysfunctional past and the anguish and relief brought on by their father’s passing. The cast includes Simone Barron, Thomas A. Glass, Sarita Benson, Jason Conner, Melody Mistlin, Richard Morris, Tim Platt and Rita Baxter. The next mainstage production is “Enchanted April,” which runs Feb. 17 to March 5.

Curtain Call Theatre Northwest: The community group stages John Ruoff’s comedy “What a Woman!” Directed by Jonathan Reis, the show runs Feb. 3-11 at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo.
