Work on railroad crossing to close Reese Road in Startup for a day

STARTUP — Emergency repairs to the railroad crossing on Reese Road, also known as 147th Street SE, are expected to close the road to regular traffic all day Thursday.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe crews plan to remove the grade crossing panels and concrete crossing material, according to a notice from Snohomish County. Emergency vehicles and school buses are to maintain access. The closure was set for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
